How can I apply for student work at the Y Student School Cooperative?
Please browse our website (in the current student jobs menu), where you can find all our current job opportunities. Using the filters, you can search by location, duration, and other criteria. You can apply directly through the contact information of the coordinators listed at the bottom of the advertisements.
What requirements do I need to meet to take on student work?
To undertake student work, you must have an active full-time or passive (under 25) student status. You can start working from the age of 15, but under 16, you can only work during official school holidays. Over 16, you can work during the school term, but only up to 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week during the day.
When and how will I receive my payment?
Payments are made via bank transfer to the account number you provided on the 15th of the month following the work period. If this day falls on a public holiday, the payment will be made on the preceding working day.
Where is the Y Student School Cooperative office located?
Our office is located in Budapest, between Nyugati Railway Station and Lehel Square, at 1137 Budapest, Radnóti Miklós Street 2, on the 3rd floor. The office is open on all working days from 9 AM to 5 PM for personal customer service. For detailed information, please visit our website.

Is it possible for foreign students to take on work?
There are limited opportunities for foreign students, as most of our positions require knowledge of the Hungarian language. How can I register with the Y Student School Cooperative?
To register with the Y Student School Cooperative, please visit our website and fill out the registration form. You will need to provide your personal details, student status information, and contact information. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions. For any assistance, you can contact our customer service.
What documents are needed for registration if I am under 18 years old?
If you are under 18 years old, you will need a parental consent form, which you can download from the 'Useful Links' section on our website www.ydiak.hu. Bring this document with you when you come to register in person at our office.

What should I do if I have a problem with my payment or if my payment did not arrive on time?
If you have any questions or issues regarding your payment, please send a detailed email to ugyfelszolgalat@ydiak.hu. Provide all necessary details, such as when and where you worked, how much payment you expected, and how much you received. Our colleagues will look into the matter and help resolve the issue.
How can I search for work on a specific day or days?

What should I do if I want to update my student status information?
